Sydney Harbour Sketch & Walk Weekend

Embark on a three-day walking and sketching exploration of Sydney Harbour. Join landscape painter Corinne Loxton on the magnificent shores of Sydney Harbour to learn to sketch en plein air (outdoors) and walk in the footsteps of some of Australia’s best-known artists.

This experience combines walking and sketching as you journey through the stunning waterways and across the iconic headlands of Sydney’s harbour. With a focus on enjoying and capturing the beauty of the harbour, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your sketching skills, all while enjoying moderate walks, scenic ferry rides, great food and the company of like-minded people.

No skill or experience in sketching is needed to participate fully. Non-sketching partners or friends are welcome and will be catered to with additional walking, if desired.

Included in this weekend are guided walks to a variety of scenic vantage points (no longer than 4 km per day), four star ensuite accommodation in the CBD, buffet breakfasts, morning teas and lunches, multiple sketching opportunities assisted by landscape artist Corinne Loxton, an art kit that will be yours to keep, and a welcome goodie bag. We will also visit the Art Gallery of NSW to admire other artists’ works of Sydney Harbour.

This weekend will run on November 22 to 24, 2024 with a maximum group size of 15 people.

The cost of this weekend is $1450 per person twin share or $1800 if you would like your own room, and this includes everything mentioned above (evening meals and ferry rides are at your own expense).

Sydney-siders please note! Send us an enquiry if you are from Sydney and would like to attend but not use the accommodation and breakfast part of the package – we can arrange this for you.
