Please note – this weekend is by request for private groups! Would your group of friends, family or members of your book club like to come along? We just need a minimum of 6 people to run this getaway on dates that suit you.
This is a cosy weekend of trawling bookshops, dedicated reading time and beautiful optional short walks! It’s a special weekend for people who love bookshops, reading and nature, following the Blue Mountains Bookshop Trail.
We can customise the weekend to however you would like it to be. Two nights works well but why not really relax with three nights?!

Prices start at $800 per person including 2 nights ensuite accommodation, breakfasts, lunches, transport to the bookshops and walks. Also included is a fun goody bag. Prices can vary according to the dates. Get in touch and let us know what kind of weekend you’d like us to organise! We usually stay at The Carrington Hotel, the Hotel Mountain Heritage, or Kurrara Guest House. We can find more affordable accommodation for your group if you’d like to make it cheaper!
We will take you to the best bookshops in the Blue Mountains, enjoy lunches in cute cafes, take you on two short but stunning walks and set you up with plenty of time to indulge in your favourite pastime of reading!
Included in this weekend is:
- 2 nights accommodation
- 2 breakfasts
- 2 cafe lunches
- 2 short but beautiful bushwalks – approximately 1 hour or so each (the walks are short but do involve quite a few steps/stairs and a small amount of uneven ground). The walks are optional – you do not have to go on them if you don’t want to!
- Transport throughout the Mountains to visit the best of the bookshops on the Blue Mountains Bookshop Trail
